Community Coalition
for Barnum

Welcome!

The Community Coalition for Barnum (CCB) represents the Barnum and Barnum West neighborhoods in Denver, Colorado. The CCB is supported by volunteers within the community and consists of local neighbors and business owners. We are an RNO (Registered Neighborhood Organization) and a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The Barnum neighborhood is located between 6th Avenue North, Federal Boulevard East, Alameda Avenue South, and Sheridan Boulevard West. Originally founded in 1878, the Barnum and Barnum West community is home to more than 8,000 people. The CCB was started in 1974 and strives to advocate, provide information, and organize on behalf of the Barnum and Barnum West community.

About Barnum & Barnum West

The Barnum neighborhood in West Denver is bounded by Sixth Ave. north, Federal Blvd. east, Alameda Blvd. south, and Perry Street west. Barnum West begins west of Perry and extends to Sheridan Blvd. The community was named after circus mogul P.T. Barnum, who purchased the land in 1878 and briefly owned it before selling it to his daughter, Helen Buchtel.

Rainwater Harvesting Workshop Series

FREE Workshops for Barnum & Valverde! Paid for by Denver's Office of Climate Action Sustainability & Resilience

Join us for a 3-part workshop series to find out how you can harvest your home's rainwater to grow more flowers and to water your trees. You'll end up with a design plan for your home, that meets your home's needs. And then you'll schedule a time this summer, when we'll help you install your rainwater harvesting design.

You are welcome to sign up for one, two, or all three workshops. We look forward to learning with you.

Hot breakfast, coffee, and hot chocolate included.

Estamos deseando aprender contigo.

Desayuno caliente, café y chocolate caliente incluidos.
